We book your overdue pump‑outs.

The homes you pumped 3 to 5 years ago are due again. Most won't call until it backs up. We mail them a card under your name and get them back on your schedule.

  • Count back within a day
  • No monthly fee
  • You pay only for tanks actually pumped

Sample card. Yours uses your truck photo, your logo, your phone number and each home's real last pump-out date.

3–5 yrs

How often most septic tanks should be pumped, per the EPA.

5–9%

Typical response to mail a company sends its own past customers (ANA house-list data).

How it works

You already have the customers. They just haven't heard from you since the last pump-out.

Step 1

Free Overdue Tank Count

Send your customer list. Town and last pump-out date is enough. No names needed.

You get back how many tanks are 3+ years overdue and what they're worth. Takes you about 5 minutes.

Step 2

We reach them as you

Postcards under your name, built from your own truck photos and branding.

  • Each card shows that customer's last pump-out date (and tank size, if you have it)
  • Addressed "Name or Current Resident" in case the house sold
  • You approve every piece before it goes out
  • Any mailed home that books within 90 days counts. You get the address list to check.
  • About 10% of the list held back, so results are measured honestly
Step 3

Our fee: $0 until a truck rolls.

$25 per tank actually pumped for our first 10 founding companies (through Jan 31, 2027), for their first 12 months. $50 after that.

Printing and postage at cost (about 85¢ to $1.05 a card), quoted before you approve. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no long-term contract. Stop anytime.

Who's behind this

Cole Ormont, founder of DueBack

I'm Cole Ormont, 19, from Plymouth, Massachusetts.

This fall I asked owners in a 41,000-member septic group how they follow up with past customers. The good ones send reminders. A lot of others told me the same thing: "we wait for them to call." DueBack sends those reminders for you, under your name.

Cole OrmontFounder, DueBack

Taking 10 founding pumpers at $25 a tank, through Jan 31, 2027. 9 spots left. One pumper per area.

Why trust a brand-new company?

  • You pay only for tanks actually pumped. No contract, no monthly fee.
  • Nothing goes out without your OK. You approve every card before it's printed.
  • Your list stays yours. Signed confidentiality agreement, never shared or sold, deleted when you ask.
  • You can reach me directly. Cole Ormont, (774) 773-6010, cole@duebackhq.com.

Straight answers

Wouldn't calling them myself work better?

Calls work. Mail reaches the ones whose numbers changed or who moved. Best is both: we can hand your office a street-sorted call list and a short script to go with the cards.

How do I know they called because of the card? I get a lot of repeat customers.

A booking counts when a home we mailed books within 90 days, or when a customer mentions the card or scans its code. Jobs already on your schedule before the cards land don't count. About 10% of your list isn't mailed, so you can see how many of those book on their own. You get one invoice a month listing every address.

Where does the tank size and location come from?

Your own records: QuickBooks notes, your field app, or paper tickets. If you don't have tank size, the card shows the last pump-out date and skips that line.

Do I have to offer a discount?

Your call. Some options: a neighbor deal (book with a neighbor the same week and your truck does two tanks in one trip), or a book-by date.

How many of these have you run?

Straight answer: DueBack is new. Our first pumper's cards go out in November 2026. That's why you pay nothing for cards that don't book. Your only cost before a truck rolls is printing and postage, and you approve that quote first. Start small, with your first 100 to 200 homes.

Is my customer list safe?

Your list is used only for your mailings. It's never shared or sold, and it's deleted when you ask. I'll sign a one-page confidentiality agreement. For the count, you can send just the town and last pump-out date. Never send card or bank details.

What does it cost?

$25 per tank actually pumped for our first 10 founding companies (offer ends Jan 31, 2027), for their first 12 months. $50 after that. Founding pumpers share their monthly job list so results get counted, and if it works, let us share their results. Printing and postage at cost, about 85¢ to $1.05 a card, quoted before you approve. No monthly fee, no setup fee, no long-term contract. Stop anytime.
